According to MyFoxTampaBay, rather than showing the requisite cartoon short before the feature presentation, (which witnesses thought it was 'Steamboat Willie,') the Regal Cinemas Park Place Stadium threw up some pornographic scenes, which according to at least one person in attendance, it appears the theatre showed the audience a graphic trailer for a new Lars Von Trier film, 'Nymphomaniac'.
(Please note, this is the possible trailer shown at the Pinellas Park theatre).
The trailer shows a lot of pornographic stuff and has been given an R18+ rated classification, including a scene of a woman giving a man oral sex on an aeroplane.
For their part, the theatre has offered free movie tickets to those who were in the audience, they weren't satisfied.
Two parents quote: "It seemed like forever when you're trying to, you know, cover a little guy's eyes," she said. "I didn't have enough hands to cover his ears too and he got the sound down real good."
"You're talking, what, a PG-rated movie to all of a sudden have an R-rated scene up there for little children?" she said. "My concern is that there should be safeguards in place so that this doesn't happen again."
The theatre also said that it's investigating and had said it was planning on firing whoever was responsible. Disney's Frozen opened during Thanksgiving weekend and raked in an insane $93 million in five days.
Also, Disney's Frozen will be released in Australia on December 26th, 2013.
