Chad - Final Fantasy Type-0 was released in Japan quite some time ago. Originally titled Final Fantasy Agito XIII, and a part of the Fabula Nova Christallis series, the title was changed late in development to Type-0, and eventually released on the PSP in the form of 2 UMD disks.
The titles features 14 playable characters - students of Class Zero, from an academy of magic and combat reminiscent of Final Fantasy VIII.
Despite opening to excellent sales, great reviews, and boasting and excellent storyline, mind-blowing graphics for the aging PSP system, and a fantastic score from the one and only Takeharu Ishimoto, the title was never localised for several reasons - the main one being due to the fact that the PSP had, at the time, been replaced in the west by the Vita.
And so an official localised version of the game never existed.
Fortunately, a group of translators, in a fan-translation project led by SkyBladeCloud, has finally translated the text of the game into English, and beta testing of the title is currently underway. The final version is due to be released in August.
