Why Disney Brings The Best Out Of All Of Us - Mickey Gives A Blind Man A Glimmer Of Happiness & An Autistic Man A Voice!

Hi everyone it's Xebs, the other day, I came across a video on Facebook. The video is about a blind 21-year-old man from Brazil, who went to one of the Disney theme parks.

At the theme-park, he and his family met the iconic Mickey Mouse. Mickey then guided the man to walk closer to him, later speaks to him in Brazilian, he next feels Mickey's face, then after gives Mickey a big hug along with his mother.

One of the relatives responded with a quote on Facebook (Google translate) — "I adopted the technique of living life one miracle at a time!" The day today is being very special and this moment will never be forgotten. ❤️ And no one was able to withhold their tears! Mickey Mouse teaching us that what is basic is invisible to the eye..."

Without a doubt, this video made me tear up a bit. The reasons why I think that, is because of the idea of Disney becoming something more than just a company making a profit or gain, but something that gives hope and happiness to people whether their blind, autistic  homosexual, mental or physical disabled and etc.

This leads to my next story of a severe Autistic man, Owen Suskind, who  was a child who loved to watched many Disney movies. As time went on, he had developed a method of communication by remembering the quotes from  Disney films.

Here's an interview with Owen and his family presented by ABC's Good Morning America shown on July 1st, 2016.

Again, this video had made me cry, the messages, the iconic quotes,  from these classic movies is what helps these people in their struggles in life. Without that glimmer of support and hope, the world would drown in their sorrow and disbelieve, for those people who have a disability or who just want that ideology of succeeding to reach their goal in life.

...And this is coming from a man who has a form of Autism, known as Asperger syndrome. Yes, I, Xebs has Asperger syndrome. I was diagnosed at the age of 7-years-old, I had many up and downs and turnarounds. But what has truly made me the person I am today is thanks to Disney. The strong men, women and sidekicks in scenarios of adventure, loss, love, bravery, hope, laughter and etc. are scenarios that have inspired me to become the better person I am today.

Just a side note, the amount of Youtube videos praising Disney on this particular social media site is very low. Constantly, you're bombarded with videos like "Top 10 Disturbing Things About Disney" or "Top 10 Shocking Facts About Disney". Just to be clear, it's ok to make lists like this. However, there's no equalisation or counter video that provides positive information on what Disney has contributed, to those like the blind Brazilan man or Owen Suskind.

An addition, Kingdom Hearts has made me even a greater person. With its ideas of friendship, defeating the "heartless" [person] to reach your goal, the fight between yourself (the light and darkness), saying I'm a person, not a "nobody", but someone who does exist and has emotions and feelings. So many ways you can interpret the Kingdom Hearts series, however, this is what I gathered from the story and ideas.

What do you guys think? Does Disney or Kingdom Hearts bring the best out of you as a person? Write your comments down below:

Update: The blind 21-year-old man is named, Basílio Santana.

Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) Goes On Strike Affecting Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8!

Hi everyone it's Xebs, in the United States, SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) have gone on strike because of nearly two years of unsuccessful negotiations with certain video game producers due to wages, benefits, and additional compensation.

One of the companies was Disney Character Voices, Inc. of being protested against. In the list, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue was among the specific video games listed (Also, included is Disney's Magic Kingdoms, which I'm playing quite a lot of lately). This means that many actors who is part of the union and who is currently working on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue must withdraw their services

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (and Disney's Magic Kingdoms) shown as many Disney games under the Disney Character Voices, Inc. which are on strike.

SAG-AFTRA has also urged those who are not members of the union to participate, although their involvement in the protest is not mandatory. Due to the closeness of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue's release next year, it is currently unknown whether this protest will have an impact on the game's voice acting and overall development.

What do you guys think? Do you think this strike will affect Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue's release date? Please! Write your comments down below:

Nintendo Switch Announces That SQUARE-ENIX Will Be A Third-party Partner & Unreal Engine 4 Support Confirmed!

Hi everyone it's Xebs, during the surprise announcement of the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has announced that SQUARE-ENIX will be a third-party partner that will be distributing games under the SQUARE-ENIX label.

After the announcement of the Nintendo Switch console, the Unreal Engine 4 Twitter page had announced that the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch.

Many fans have made the speculation that Kingdom Hearts III may have a future possibility on being featured on that console due to sharing the same graphics engine and that SQUARE-ENIX being a company distributing games for the Nintendo Switch. However, SQUARE-ENIX has NOT confirmed anything.

Personally, I think this could possibly happen, many people in Japan play with Nintendo products more often than playing Xbox One games. So SQUARE-ENIX may see the potential for Japanese audiences. Also, this could be the reason why Xbox One was removed from the Kingdom Hearts III Japanese website as a supporting console. Who knows?

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is very unlikely game for the Nintendo Switch once it's been released.

Nintendo Switch's release date is currently unknown.

REVIEW! Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- Demo At EB Expo 2016!

Hi everyone it's Xebs, On October 1st, I went to the EB Expo Sydney Australia 2016 and I'd got the opportunity to play Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- Demo at the Bandai Namco booth.

Positives: Personally I really enjoyed it, great uses of graphics, especially the style Aqua moves and fights in combat. Good sense of the gameplay/battle system, very similar to Kingdom Hearts II in the way of the attack menu bar and controls. The way Castle of Dreams was set out was fun, challenging, which good world building must have, although there were some people next to me who got lost looking for the time gears.

Negatives: The one thing that I'll criticise is the "lock on" really and I mean really needs to get fixed because I kept locking on to the lamp posts in the town of Castle of Dreams while I was attacking the Heartless and it was just annoying.

Overall really nice small demo to showing what the Unreal Engine 4 can do.

I'll be looking forward to playing the whole thing next year and giving it a full review once it's out. Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be coming out next year in 2017, 12th of January (Japan) and 24th (US and Europe).

Also, here are some photos that I took during the day!

Sneak Peek At Tangled: The Series, Coming In 2017!

Hi everyone it's Xebs, Disney had just announced that Tangled: The Series will be coming soon to the Disney Channel in 2017.

The Series will be taking place in-between the end of (2010s) Tangled, and before Rapunzel and Flynn are married in the animated short, Tangled Ever After (2012).

Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, will be reprising their roles as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (aka Eugene).

Here's a sneak peek teaser trailer of Tangled: The Series. Personally, I think the 2D animation looks very cute and (of course) very different compared to its 3D counterpart. The story and the premise seem very interesting, she's got her long blonde hair back! OMG!
