Hi everyone it's Xebs, Big news from Hollywood. The rumors are true, Disney will be planing a follow up to Cinderella with a live-action musical interpretation of its classic animated feature Beauty and the Beast. Actress Emma Watson from the Harry Potter films, has been cast as Belle. She was previously going to be Belle in another adaptation of the classic film, however the director Guillermo del Toro pulled out from the project.
The Disney adaptation will be directed by Bill Condon and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Production is anticipated to begin later this year.
