Hi everyone it's Xebs, Disney had just released a new poster for the live adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Steven. The poster shows Belle and the Beast in a classic silhouette and very similar to the animated version from 1991.
Personally, I have mixed feeling about this poster due to the way Emma Watson is not giving eye to eye contact with the Beast. Indicating no love or feelings for the Beast as she tilts her head towards the audience. I do hope the movie won't lean towards a feminist movement that Emma Watson is best known for. Overall, it looks beautiful and very nostalgic, however the message it's sending isn't what I wanted in a film about beauty within.
Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast will be out in cinemas March 17th, 2017.
