DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID WILL BE COMING BACK TO CINEMAS!

"The Little Mermaid" Poster for the Blu-ray release.

Hi everyone it's Xebs, thanks to a great blogger named Mitch, we now have a confirmed date of a release for "The Little Mermaid" coming back to Australians cinemas ONLY for a limited time in August 2013.

As I did some research, the blogger Mitch, who I assumed commented on the Office Disney Australian & New Zealand Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DisneyAUNZ on the 24th of April. Disney reply saying:

Disney & New Zealand Facebook - We can give you an update on The Little Mermaid theatrical for sure. Sorry about the conflicting info. The Little Mermaid will DEFINITELY return to theatres in Australia & New Zealand this year. We are running a special limited edition screening of The Little Mermaid in select cinemas on the last weekend of August, Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st. We will share with you more information about the screening as we get closer to August.

As you can see, they haven't mentioned the movie being in 3-D. It's most likely that it  WON'T be in 3-D and will be a limited time release just like what  they did to some Disney Movies, for example: The Disney Princess Movie Marathon, which included Cinderella, Mulan, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Tangled and Princess and the Frog. Also out for a limited time was Walt Disney's "Peter Pan" which was in a Disney Junior Movie Marathon."Peter Pan" will be released on Blu-ray June 5th 2013.

"Peter Pan" on Blu-ray.

As I was doing more research, thanks to Mitch the blogger, he wrote on his own blog: http://littlemermaidcels.blogspot.com.au
That "Village Cinemas" will be releasing "The Little Mermaid 3-D" but, only Screening on Saturday June 8 to Monday June 10 at Southland, Fountain Gate and Knox which is in Melbourne. Heres the link: http://secure.villagecinemas.com.au/Movies/The-Little-Mermaid-3D.htm
It's most likely it won't happen but we'll keep an eye on it. OK.

Personally, I just really hope they will release it in 3-D... hands down.
